Who We Are
In 2022, a group of healthcare professionals saw two disturbing trends: thousands of trained healthcare professionals were unemployed, and millions of Kenyans still lacked access to basic healthcare, especially in rural and underserved counties. They asked a powerful question:
What if we could solve both problems with one bold idea?
From that spark, the Foundation for Health Catalysts (FHC) was born. The FHC is a not-for-profit organization committed to bridging the healthcare gap in marginalized areas, creating employment for unemployed healthcare professionals, and extending the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) to every corner of the country.
